NWRDC can provide customers with a managed security solution that will include redundant firewalls and Intrusion Prevention Service (IPS) monitoring.

Tallahassee Fiber Loop
NWRDC owns and manages a 14.3 mile fiber optic loop surrounding the Tallahassee Metropolitan Area known as the Tallahassee Fiber Loop. This is the only source to connect to the Florida Lambda Rail in Tallahassee as well as providing a cost effective method for customers within reach of the TFL to access the NWRDC directly.

My Florida Network (MFN)
NWRDC has a 10 Megabit connection to the state's MFN network through the Tallahassee MAN. This connection can provide state customers with access to their resources housed at NWRDC via the MFN Public network, MFN Common Services network, or a MFN Private network connection. Connectivity options can be tailored to suit the needs of each individual customer.
