Documentation Format
Although several of the documents are in standard HTML format, most of the documents are in Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format). You must have a copy of Adobe's Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to read them.

Documentation Security
Some of these documents are maintained at the NWRDC and are reserved for authorized users. You must enter a valid NWRDC logon ID and password in order to retrieve them.

ACCESS for DB2
          ACCESS for DB2 is a editor for DB2 data bases. Browse, edit and join tables at will.

           ACF2 is NWRDC's mainframe security system

ALTER for DB2
           ALTER for DB2 is an ISPF-based software product which works in combination with your DB2
           system to facilitate alteration, duplication and/or migration of DB2 data structures.

ASSIST/TS
           ASSIST manages the display and maintenance of CICS help screen overlays without any
           modifications to the application program. 

BMS/TS
           BMS/TS is a basic mapping support screen generator, from GT/SOFTWARE.

CATALOG MANAGER
           CATALOG MANAGER provides interactive access to DB2 catalog information and application
           data with easy-to-use menus, panels and online Help.

CICS
           CICS is the industry standard for transactional processing

COBOL
           COBOL is the primary high-level language in use at the NWRDC 

Code-1 Plus
           Code1, a product of Group1 software, is a postal address verification package. 

CONTROL-M
           CONTROL M automates virtually all the job handling tasks of computer operators. 

DB2
           DB2, IBM's premiere relational data base. 

DB2 Connect
           DB2 Connect is a gateway from the distributed platforms to DB2 on the mainframe.

Easytrieve
           Easytrieve is an information retrieval and data management system designed to simplify
           programming. Its English-like language and simple declarative statements provide the tools
           needed to produce comprehensive reports with ease. 

FDR FATS/FATR
           Fast Dump Restore (FDR), the name says it all. FDR provides easy backup and restore for data
           sets and DASD volumes.

Insight
           Insight is an interactive performance monitor that enables the user to specify a DB2 subsystem to
           monitor.

INTERTEST
           INTERTEST in an interactive debugger that allows programmers to monitor the execution of CICS
           programs.

IOF
           The Interactive Output Facility (IOF) provides a comprehensive interface to the JES2 subsystem
           (jobs and printed output).

IPT-SPIFFY
           SPIFFY is a TSO/ISPF add-on. It provides many features not present in ISPF and it facilitates the
           use of existing ISPF functions by eliminating menu navigation.

ISPF VSAM Utility
           ISPF/VSAM Utility provides on-line access (through ISPF) to the most often used VSAM
           manipulation normally done with IDCAMS batch processing.

Log Master for DB2
           Log Master for DB2 allows you to access and use the DB2 log for purposes beyond restart and
           recovery.

MOVE for DB2
           Move for DB2 is the relational copy facility component of Princeton SofTech's Relational Tools. It
           is used to migrate relationally intact sets of data from multiple source tables to corresponding
           destination tables.

           ODE is a CICS based data entry facility.

PanValet
           PANVALET is a central library facility that can store source programs, object programs, Job
           control streams and Data files.

QuickRef
           MVS/Quick-Ref is an online programmer's reference that provides access to a summary of
           frequently used MVS and other reference materials. 

SAS
           The Statistical Analysis System (SAS) is modular integrated application systems software that
           allows developers and users to access, manage, analyze and present data from virtually any
           source.

Shadow Direct
           Shadow Direct provides ODBC connections to DB2. 

Shadow Web
           Shadow Web is a full function Web Server deployed as an OS/390 started task.

SymDump
           SYMDUMP is a Computer Associates tool that captures the programming environment at the
           time of a CICS application ABEND.
